峠では頻繁に降雪の便りが聞かれるようになり、
身の回りの木々もかなり色づき始めてなかには落葉するものも出てくる。
朝の散歩、ここのところ雨天が多くなっていますが、
たまに晴天が覗くと、ごらんのような秋景が目を楽しませてくれる。
カミさんと話していると「今年の紅葉はパッとしない」とのご託宣。
って、彼女はある年の特異な紅の固定観念が強いようで
それと比較してか、毎年こういう印象を聞かされます。
わたしなど、こだわりなくこれもそれもみんないい、という人間は
「おお」と毎年感激させていただいております。
さてどちらがシアワセな生き方か、どうなんでしょうか？

一方、北国のもうひとつの冬準備であるタイヤ交換。
毎年のことながら、これを機会に車両のチェックも同時に行う。
「これ、ちょっとマフラー音が気になる」とか、
あれこれのチェック項目に基づいてメンテナンスを同時進行。
中小零細企業としては、こういった車両管理も怠れない。
細かいことに注意しつつ、コスト管理にも手が抜けません。
特に今年は世界的なエネルギー価格の急上昇があって
石油製品の値上がり分がハンパないレベルになっている。
北国人にとっては生活条件に基本的な危機が迫っている感。
背景条件として、自然エネルギーへの急激な傾斜とその不安定性の露呈から
天然ガス価格の急上昇ぶり。EU圏内では８倍にもなっている報道。
エネルギーへの対応は冷静な理性的判断が重要。
間違っても空論的な判断に委ねられてはいけないと強く思います。
ガソリン価格の上昇は、企業経営にとって不透明そのもののコスト上昇要因。
軽はずみなポピュリズムに基づいた論調には疑問が強く湧きますね。
北海道ではそのほかに「暖房」経費の上昇も避けられない。
こういうコストアップは当面、価格転嫁することはほぼ不可能。
政策判断当局にはくれぐれも冷静な判断を願いたいと思います。

さて個人的には昨日、高校同期の同期会開催。
２年ぶりの開催ということでどうなるかと思っていましたが、
なんと40名を超える参加ということでした。
開催前には厳重に「マスク、マスク」と連呼があり、
また開催時間中もマナー違反へのイエローカード、レッドカードが飛び交う（笑）。
もっともカードが出る度に爆笑の渦なので
マスクを越えるような盛大な盛り上がりになってしまう。
それでも同一会場での２次会も都合４時間ほどでお開き。
徐々に日常が復元してきているようで喜ばしいですね。
