[Rennyo’s accommodation “Ikko-ikki” space / Japanese good house ㉚-2]
It is often said that Japanese people are non-religious,
The relationship between the Japanese and religion is deeply rooted when it is renewed.
From the stage when the central government began to function in earnest in this country
“Kokubunji” and “Kokubunnanji” were built all over the country with the idea of ”guardian state”.
A religious event held at the temple day and night,
Musicality that has never been seen in this country’s society, scents that stimulate the five senses, etc.
Imagine the process by which philosophy permeated in one set.
In the first place, it seems to have been the greatest basis for the legitimacy and collectiveness of the nation and, by extension, society.
To make people aware of the intangible power of the nation
As a comprehensive spiritual culture of the greatest basis for accepting it
The role played by religion seems to have been enormous.

In Oku Gokayama, which is closed like an isolated island on land in the border area between Toyama and Gifu prefectures
Rennyo, the general manager of Jodo Shinshu, stayed at this Yamada family and stayed there.
It is said that the people around him gathered and were taught.
Toyama Prefecture is still known as a thriving area of the Jodo Shinshu sect.
A part of the Buddhist culture that blossomed there was as a decorative device for temple architecture.
For some reason, I’ve been “drifting” to my house,
Even during the Warring States period, Rennyo himself appeared in areas like this “Island of Land”.
I’m a Shingon sect, so I’m not sure, but
Considering the reverence for Rennyo for the Jodo Shinshu sect,
It is understandable that the country of Toyama was raised in a rush.
Whether it was the cause or the result, the armed uprising of Nobunaga at Ishiyama Hongan-ji Temple in Osaka
I can imagine that the explosive raw material “smoke glass” made here was also used.

In this sect, the “Buddhist altar” that decorates the ancestor is the deepest part of the building, the exterior photograph of the back.
It is located so that it protrudes from the outer wall surface for about half an hour.
It is said that it does not enshrine “the ancestors of one’s own house” like other denominations.
This house played the role of a public hall in the village.
When many people gathered, the fittings that partition the room were taken and spread out.
The construction of this building itself is in the middle of the Edo period,
In historical terms, at the Yamada family in the rebuilding in front of this building
A firm pact was signed. Such enthusiasm and mood are transmitted.
