現役生活から徐々に離れてきていますが、そうは言っても世界情勢は日々刻々と変化を見せてくる。
　アメリカトランプ政権は、イランに攻撃を加えてかの国の権力中枢40人以上の殺害に成功したと。今年初めのベネズエラの大統領の「逮捕〜アメリカの監獄への収監」という作戦にも驚かされたが、今回のイラン攻撃でも、政権中枢大部分が参集して会議を行っている情報をイスラエル情報機関がキャッチし、その情報をアメリカ情報機関がさらに詳細に解析して会議場所を特定して、まさにピンポイントで攻撃した。
　こういうパワーの時代におけるアメリカの最新軍事技術のすさまじさを明白に物語っている。ある特定のAI技術利用という情報も発出されてきている・・・。
　この攻撃にはさすがにアメリカでも共和党内すらからも異論が出てきているというけれど、国連常任理事国という存在である５大国のうちロシアが宣戦布告もなくウクライナに侵攻したり、中国がまるで属国に対するかのように対日恫喝を繰り返すような、そういう時代に完全に突入してしまっている。
　軍事強国による剥き出しのパワハラがまかり通る時代に突入してしまっている。
　無力・無能丸出しの「国連」などというあいまいな「戦後体制」平和志向は完全崩壊した。
　そういう現実世界の中で、日本は現実に生存戦略を確立していく必要がある。世界の石油供給のルートに危機が迫る中、さっそくガソリン価格は急上昇の様子。昨日ガソリンを31.24リッター充填したが、正価の単価は156円で、会員価格でようやく151円。合計4,717円。そのうちガソリン税897円。東京大阪などの集中過密都市以外居住の大多数の日本人にとってガソリンは根幹。さっそく生活を直撃してくる。
　さりとてそういう「不満」を日本政府にぶつけても遠吠えにもならない時代に突入している。世界は完全に軍権が支配するパワー戦争の時代に入ってしまった。好むと好まざるとに関わらず、そういう世界の中で「国として生存戦略をどう組み立てていくか？」しか道はない。もうキレイ事を言っていられる時代ではなくなったのだろう。そのことに敏感に反応し始めた世代の「世直し」志向が、先の衆院選挙結果にハッキリと表明されたということだろう。そういう意味では日本人の世界感覚は鋭いと言える。さらに世界が崩壊しつつある中、ひとりひとりの人間も個の生存戦略を問われてくるのだろうか。
　さて、本日以降、中東の情勢がどう動いていくか。冷徹にウォッチして行く必要がある。

　Though I’m gradually stepping away from active duty, the world situation continues to change by the minute.
The Trump administration in the U.S. has attacked Iran, successfully killing over 40 key figures in that country’s power structure. Earlier this year, we were shocked by the operation to “arrest and imprison the Venezuelan president in an American prison.” Now, regarding this Iran attack, Israeli intelligence reportedly caught information that a large portion of the regime’s core leadership was gathered for a meeting. American intelligence then analyzed this information in greater detail, pinpointed the meeting location, and carried out a precisely targeted strike.
This clearly demonstrates the sheer power and sophistication of America’s latest military technology in this era of power. Information has also emerged suggesting the use of specific AI technology…
While even within the Republican Party in the U.S., dissent is reportedly emerging over this attack, we have fully entered an era where, among the five permanent UN Security Council members, Russia invades Ukraine without a declaration of war, and China repeatedly threatens Japan as if it were a vassal state.
　We have entered an era where blatant power harassment by military superpowers is accepted.
The vague “postwar order” peace-oriented approach, embodied by the utterly powerless and incompetent “United Nations,” has completely collapsed.
　Within this harsh reality, Japan must establish a viable survival strategy. As threats loom over global oil supply routes, gasoline prices are already surging. Yesterday, I filled up with 31.24 liters of gasoline. The regular price per liter was 156 yen, but with my membership discount, it came down to 151 yen. Total cost: 4,717 yen. Of that, 897 yen was gasoline tax. For the vast majority of Japanese living outside densely populated cities like Tokyo and Osaka, gasoline is fundamental. This is hitting their livelihoods directly.
Yet, we’ve entered an era where venting such “frustration” at the Japanese government amounts to nothing more than a distant howl. The world has fully entered an era of power wars dominated by military might. Whether we like it or not, within this world, the only path forward is “how to construct a survival strategy as a nation?” The era for pretty words is over. The “world-fixing” aspirations of the generation that has become sensitive to this reality were clearly expressed in the recent House of Representatives election results. In that sense, one could say the Japanese sense of the world is sharp. Furthermore, as the world itself seems to be collapsing, will each individual also be forced to confront their own personal survival strategy?
Now then, how will the situation in the Middle East unfold from today onward? We must watch it with cold, clear eyes.
