さてきのうは出張準備で、あれこれと作業しておりました。本日東京へ移動いたします。で、火曜日から木曜日まで東京ビッグサイトで缶詰め状態。これまでは住宅関係のイベントであるいは出展者になったり、情報収集目的で参観などをしてきました。本格的なAI関係のイベント参加、それも出展者側として参加することになるとは自分自身、驚愕の展開。こういう運命・境遇は黙して受け入れ勤めたい。
　まぁしかし、AI開発の協働者のみなさんのサポートを受けながらのこういう体験も貴重な機会。今後の展望を開いて行くためには欠かせない活動だと思っています。できることならば、こういうAI活用についての思いを共有するみなさんと出会えればと期待しております。
　さて参加に当たっての最大の不安ポイントは、１日７時間で３日間合計で21時間の時間を「説明員」として無事に「完走」できるかどうか、の体力のこと（笑）。いまでも１日8,000歩くらいの運動量は確保しているので、大きな不安はないのですが、まぁなんとかクリアできることを祈念。

　ということで昨日はしばし札幌の素朴な自然景観に目を休ませていました。オシドリたちが水面に映り込む様子は、この時期らしい「カラーリング」で楽しませてくれる。もうすぐ繁殖シーズンが始まる前、かれらオシドリの場合にはオスがカラフルな体毛で全身を彩ってメスたちの関心を惹く。
　かれらの主体意識のなかでこういう「化粧」変容について、そのことが「努力」する対照であるかどうか。聞いたことがないのでわかりませんが（笑）、イキモノとしての想像力としてはやはり天性のモノとはいえ、より美しく見えるようになにがしか努めているのではないかと想像しています。あるいは「意中」のメスへの思いの強さによってカラーリングの出力加減に強弱があり得るのではないか。
　考えて見ると、わたしどものビジネス的な展示会参加ということも、そういった側面があるのでしょう。
　よき一期一会もまた、水面下での「水かき努力」からこそ生み出されるのかも知れません。
　いろいろ、事前準備は行ったのですが、そこから先はこころをやわらかに持って、柔軟に対応していきたいと思っております。

Well, yesterday I was preparing for a business trip and working on this and that. Today we are moving to Tokyo. So from Tuesday to Thursday I’ll be stuck at Tokyo Big Sight. So far, I have attended housing-related events or been an exhibitor, or visited events for the purpose of gathering information. I was surprised to find myself taking part in a full-fledged AI-related event, and that too as an exhibitor. I would like to accept this kind of fate and circumstance in silence.
　However, this experience with the support of AI development collaborators is also a valuable opportunity. I believe it is an indispensable activity to open up future perspectives. If possible, I hope to meet other people who share my thoughts on the use of AI.
　The biggest concern I have about participating in this project is my physical fitness – whether I will be able to successfully “complete” the 21 hours as an “explainer” for a total of three days at seven hours a day (laughs). Even now, I get about 8,000 steps a day, so I don’t have any major concerns, but I pray that I can manage to complete it.

　So yesterday I often rested my eyes on the simple natural landscape of Sapporo. The reflections of mandarin ducks on the water’s surface are a delight with their “colouring”, which is typical of this time of year. Before the breeding season starts soon, the males of these mandarin ducks attract the attention of the females by colourfully decorating their entire bodies with colourful body hair.
　I wonder if this is a contrast to “striving” for this kind of “cosmetic” transformation in their subjective consciousness. I have never heard of it, so I don’t know (laughs), but I imagine that, as an imaginary creature, they do something to make themselves look more beautiful, even though it is still a natural thing. Or, depending on the strength of their feelings for their “intended” female, there may be a strength or weakness in the output of the colouring.
　When you think about it, our business-like participation in exhibitions also has this aspect.
　A good encounter may also be born out of ‘water-pumping efforts’ made under the surface of the water.
　We have done a lot of preparation in advance, but from there onwards we would like to remain open-minded and respond flexibly.
