\nCoats aren’t just down jackets anymore; they’ve shifted from thin to standard warm styles.
\nThe photo shows Hokkaido Shrine, visited during yesterday’s walk after a long time. At the main hall entrance, the \u201cShinmon Gate,\u201d the roof was lightly dusted white. It seemed the previous day’s rainwater had frozen on the roof, and a light dusting of snow had settled on top.
\n\u3000When the first snow begins to fall quietly, Hokkaido residents feel a kind of peace.
\nIt’s a unique, indescribable feeling \u2013 like \u201cAh, it’s finally here,\u201d or \u201cThe muffling effect of snow is approaching.\u201d Once covered in snow, the natural sound level drops, bringing a quiet time.

Thinking feeding animals was prohibited, I tried to caution him. But he responded with a torrent of abuse too vulgar to repeat, shouting things like, \u201cHumans destroyed the environment!
